This is War supports SSAFA
Tuesday 14th May 2019

It is Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK.

Lindisfarne Productions are proud to be supporting SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity. Our aim is to raise awareness during our next production, This Is War by Hannah Moscovitch, of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in current servicemen and woman & ex-service personnel.

SSAFA provides lifelong support to men and women in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force, and their families. They also work with veterans of all ages to help them settle into life and work outside the Forces.

Founded in 1885, they are the oldest national charity supporting the three Armed Forces, and we should all be immensely proud of their history and the work they do for the servicemen and woman of this country.

Their support covers both regulars and reserves in the armed forces, including anyone who has completed National Service.

This Is War by Hannah Mosocovitch - A platoon of Canadian soldiers are based on the front line, fighting against the Terrorist forces in Panjwaii, Afghanistan. The soldiers recount their versions of the events that unfolded and it quickly becomes clear that not only are they fighting the enemy on the battlefield, but the most destructive of enemies inside their minds.
