Ten- The Greatest Hits of Southend Vox

Wesley Methodist Church, Leigh-on-Sea.

Southend Vox is a dynamic and captivating not-for-profit adult choir open to anyone who loves to sing, offering a fresh and lively approach to choral singing.
The choir, which started in January 2009, will be reviving its Greatest Hits on Saturday 9th November for a one-off performance.  An exhilarating and eclectic programme sees Vox take a stroll down memory lane as they revive some of their favourite pieces, from show tunes to pop and rock classics.  It promises to be an evening of excellent entertainment which encapsulates the spirit of Southend Vox Ė a fun-filled choir that loves to perform.

Since the choir was formed, we are proud to have:

Supported a variety of local and national charities, raising over £10,000
Welcomed over 200 members through our doors, covering all corners of the globe from Denmark & America, to Italy and even Canvey!
Championed the Southend community through performances at PRIDE, Music in the Park (the Bandstandís summer concert series in Priory Park), 2012 Olympic Torch Procession, community fairs, plus countless appearances at both the Southend and Leigh lights switch-on.
Performed at The Royal Albert Hall alongside the Music Man Project, Londonís Union Chapel, and supported Classical Brit Award winners Blake at the Palace Theatre.
We are proud of the role we have played in supporting the Southend Community throughout the past ten years, and we really hope you join us to celebrate on the 9th November!
