The Players Theatre Co, return to the Palace Theatre this October with a brand new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s much loved musical Oklahoma!

Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, the show is a true classic and is often cited as the first modern musical of Broadway’s golden era. With a lush score featuring some of the pair’s best songs including Oh What A Beautiful Mornin, Many A New Day, People Will Say Were In Love, Poor Jud Is Dead and of course Oklahoma! This new production will make you fall in love with it, all over again!

Set in a rural community at the turn of the 20th Century, the show is a reminder of simpler, happier times, where love and courtship is played out at the towns social’s under the gaze of Aunt Ella. Curly and Laurie would be the perfect match, were it not for fate, and pride trying to pull them apart.

An amateur production
